1. Local Processing Only

ChatReceipts operates entirely on a Client-Side Architecture. When you upload a WhatsApp chat export file, the processing happens locally within your browser's memory.

• Your chat files are never uploaded to our servers.
• We do not have a backend database to store your messages.
• Once you close the tab or refresh the page, all analyzed data is instantly wiped from your browser's memory.

2. Data Collection

Since we don't have servers, we cannot collect your personal chat data. We physically cannot see:

• Your messages or media.
• Your contact names or phone numbers.
• Your usage patterns or relationship dynamics.

We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (e.g., "1,000 chats analyzed today") using privacy-preserving analytics tools, but this data is never linked to your specific chat content.

3. AI Processing

For features like the "AI Roast," we use a secure API to generate the content.

• Only a small, randomized subset of anonymized messages is sent to the AI provider for the sole purpose of generating the roast.
• This data is not used to train AI models.
• The data is discarded by the AI provider immediately after the response is generated.
